So why the odd company name?

Well, there are a lot of reasons for our unusual name. In a way, it embodies the way that we are approaching our business, our marketing, and our customers. We had a ringside seat during the dot-com revolution, where traditional business wisdom was thrown out the window as the laid back techies put forth a new order of informality. We were also there when the dot-com bubble burst, and all of the traditional business types declared that the dream was over, and it was time to go back to the old way of doing things.

We think the answer lies somewhere in between. No, you shouldn't burn all of your business capital on arcade games and spas for your employees--but maybe there is something in this informality thing. From older to younger, from women to men, we've noticed that customers LIKE to be addressed by their first name, and a certain informality helps put people at ease when they're dealing with a technology that often baffles them.

So we take pride in the fact that we're human, and maybe even a little bit off-beat sometimes. We like our goofy name, and our relaxed dealings with our customers, but we still have our hands firmly on the wheel. In other words, we're partially sane--unusual and unorthodox, but with our feet still on the ground.
