Custom Cart Output

One of the most flexible features of Sanity eStore is the Custom Cart Output. With Custom Cart Output, advanced users can specify the way that the shopping cart information is formatted--in forms or special JavaScript variables--so that the last part of the order can be integrated with virtually any shopping cart backend.

Here's how it works:

- Choose a predefined cart output, such as PayPal, Sanity, or Impulse, and your cart data will automatically be formatted in such a way as to integrate with those services

- Get information from your shopping cart backend or realtime credit card processor to find out the field names that are required for form submission

- Select each Sanity cart field that you need, and tell Sanity eStore what the new field name should be in order to match

- If you are using an actual shopping cart backend such as Impulse 4.2 or Sanity, then you'll need to submit a "cart string" variable, as well, in a particular format. You can change how the cart string is encoded with the "Modify Cart String..." button
